Hello,
A few days ago my CPU died (after testing all the components one by one, I found that the CPU was defect).
I went back to the shop where I buyed the CPU and they gave me a new one from the warranty. I added also 8 GB more memory as a small upgrade.
I reinstalled the CPU, reset the BIOS and everything works fine again.
My question is, the CPU was maybe already defect since the beginning (bad transistor or whatever?). Could this have negative effects on my PC in the last couple of months? I mean that the Windows Installation, Drivers or Software where/are corrupt because I had a defective CPU?
My PC specifications: AMD Blue Game PC
Thank you in advance!
