Figured I'd help christen john's new arcade pics site and post some photos i
took this afternoon of my multi-williams project in it's early stages.

I Picked up this Defender cabinet for $50 with a working world series in it.
probably one of the more saddening conversions. it was painted over gloss
black. i figured the wood was really solid so if anything i'd restencil it
or something. probably make a mame cabinet out of it for my buddy.

When i saw the Jamma multi-williams boards for sale online though, I knew
what I had to do. This thing is going in my living room. screw that!

This will be my first real project where I'll be wiring the cabinet for
jamma and all that. Probably buy a spanking new monitor for it. Looking
foward to the challenge. At least it's off to a good start.

Using a spray can of Goof Off. Sprayed it on.. agitated it with a nylon
scrub brush.. then went away for an hour or two..

came back and sprayed it again.. waited a couple of minutes and the old
paint peeled off pretty easily.

Isn't that multiWilliams/MultiGame PCB just a mame variant?
(I.E. Actually runs mame with a flash ROM of some type)
Looks like it to me.

Not to get picky...

Good job, I know all to well how much work and time it takes to take the
paint off. Good luck with the rest, I'm sure will be happy once it's all
done.

I'm looking for a 100% working World Series PCB...are you interested in
selling it?

Well it's definitely emulation. The same board is used for
multiwilliams as it is for their multigame.
