Hi,

I intend to buy this case for an upgrade, its pretty much perfect for my build. But its quite big. Its 531mm in length which is 31mm over my desk edge.

Using a cut out i made, the case feet should all be on the desk, but the front would be about 20mm over edge, and back would be over by 10mm.

Is this a deal breaker at all? Should i find a slightly smaller case (such as the corsair 450d?)

Solution
My Define S hangs over at the back by about 4 inches (I don't use the feet, although not the best for airflow) If the feet are all on the desk then there is no issue unless you think you will knock it occasionally, but 2/3cm isn't a problem :)
it comes up to you
weather or not you will mind
consider if the "aesthetics" of the overhang will annoy you greatly,
or if the 31mm overhang will likely cause you to "bump" in to the case to a degree that will annoy you?

as long as all the feet are on teh table there will be no functional issues at all, so its all up to you how you think/will like it

also consider "alternative" mounting options, wall mounted, if your desk i near a right side wall (nothing will interrupt the case or functions even if placed right next to a surface on the right side of teh case after hardware installation)
you can have a "hanging" case below or on teh side of your desk, it would ofc still protrude compared to teh desk, but the aesthetics might suddenly look different
or turn it sideways in either mount
