Define S worth it vs R5?

I got a build recently with a rather bad case (corsair spec-02), with a 980 ti. Stupid me, I know. I am planning to get a new case sometime near winter, and the define R5 looks very appealing. Although, if I were to get the define s, I would have to pay $230 because of crappy shipping cost in the middle east.
What are the differences for the cases?
I am not planning to do any custom water cooled loops or anything, at best, A 240 AIO.
Also, how easy is gutting a pc and moving the parts to a new one? What can I expect?

What exactly about the spec-02 do you feel makes it bad? It should provide everything you need (but not necessarily everything you'd want) for a non-extreme, non liquid-cooled build.

As long as you don't kill anything with electrostatic discharge, there's nothing to expect really when doing a complete system swap. A Philips screwdriver and a steady hand is all you need to free a GPU from the PCI bracket, the motherboard from the tray, and any non tool-less bay items like an optical drive, fan controller, etc.

Qatar. The spec has terrible dust protection, a major problem where I live. It is also noisy, and the define r5/s are silent. Feels weird having a $1500 system in a $60 case. I also have some problems with cable management, like the CPU power wire going over my heat sync.
