If I defrag a hybrid SSD/HDD, will that have the effect of flushing the (SSD) cache as well?
I've found various answers to that question over the years, some say yes but its not a good idea, others say no it only affects the HDD portion, and others say yes but it will slow down your drive for a while until the cache is recreated.

In any case, if it is your intent to delete all data off the drive (both HDD and NAND cache) I would probably just use a diskpart clean all. OTOH if you want to manually defrag your drive for a performance issue, I don't think that one defrag will be much of an issue for long.
