Defragging storage HDDs with SSD boot drive

I recently installed an SSD boot drive (256g) and have two 1TB HDDs in a Raid 1 array. I went over the tips for maximizing the efficiency of an SSD however the one thing im questionable about is turning defrag off. I obviously dont want to defrag the SSD however is it necessary to defrag the HDDs? They simply hold media, data, and smaller programs that i dont need on the SSD.

I would do that ones in a while but it really is depending on how much free space is on them and how often you write to them.

If you are using Windows 7 then run WEI. It will automatically disable defrag on all SSDs attached to your system.
