way i can defragment a drive in NT, i.e. thru a network?

If you don't have the cabbage to shell out for the full version of diskeeper, you can download diskeeper lite.

http://www.webattack.com/get/dkeeperlite.shtml

works well, may need to be run a few times to get everything. Also you may want to set the swap file size to 0 on the volume that you want to defrag IF you have another volume to set a swap file on.

You will have to buy a copy of diskkeeper 5.0 made by executive software

The current version of Diskeeper is V8. I really doubt that Diskeeper V5 is
legally available anymore :)
