degause problem

everytime i switch on me comp the monitor (a 15 inch daewoo electronic) goes completly purple in the corners, the degause works but sometimes it makes it worse, there are no magnets near the monitor as this can cause this and i dont know what the problem is, i also have a focusing problem, the monitor looks really clear and easy to read off e.g. the icon names but after a while it gos blury, i cant get another monitor cause im skint. any suggestions, all help welcome

ok there should be settings on the monitor that can change colours in the corners.

do the colours change or stay consistant the whole time.

if they stay consitant then go to the "purity" option on the monitor(itself)

well that is the option on my computer for it
