I had Windows 10 installed, but something went terribly wrong that was related to the DVD-drive while it was reading a disc. Long story short, I wound up doing a factory reset on my Gateway PC to restore it back to it's factory settings.
However now, when I first boot up the computer, there is a 1-2 minute delay from when I press the power button to when the Gateway splash logo appears and everything powers up like normal. I hear a fan spinning (sounds like the power supply fan) At first glace, this seems like a power supply problem. However, this ONLY started this morning, after doing the factory reset late last night. Restarting the PC, as well as waking up from sleep, work like normal.
Everything else on the computer works like normal now after the reset. The issue last night in Windows 10 that prompted the factory reset is literally the only real problem I've had with the PC since I got it in November 2012.
