Hello Everyone.
So I had a PC and it suddenly it stopped turning on. It was suspected to be an issue from the motherboard, tests were made on the PSU and the energy was stable without any oscilations. All hardware was tested and everything was okay, the only thing we couldnt figure out was if it was really from the motherboard.
Anytime the PC would turn on, using a air compressor on the USB Slots on the back would always solve the issue, which was strange.I decided to upgrade the motherboard and buy a new case, Li Lancool III
I have a TUF gaming MBLi Lancool III
32GB (4 sticks of 8gb same brand), not the issue1660 super TI
650w Corsair PSU
Yesterday I received the PC and clicked on the Button and it turned on instantly.
TOday I woke up and pressed the power button and nothing, I pressed again, nothing, then after 5 seconds the PC turned on.
I have tried shutting down and turning on and it seems random, it can take up to 2seconds to recognize the power, other times takes 6 seconds.
After trying everything and always experiencing the delay, I decided to now push the button with slightly more pressure and it turns on instantly.
I have no idea why the Turning on gets delayed. I press the button until hearing the first click, nothing happens, I have to press a little further until a second click is heard and everything turns on automatically.
Is this anything related to the new case as I have never experienced this before?
I have seen people mentioning that this would be the PSU, although, only the Motherboard and 2 rams are different, the rest is the same and I should have more than enough Power.Any idea?
I've read it was the capacitors discharging before turning on
