Question Cannot delete Adobe armsvc.exe ?

Hi I deleted Adobe css 5.5 from my folder. have files that are not deleted like
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0\armsvc.exe

Tried deleting this but am told... File is open Adobe Acrobat Update Service

I have checked MsConfig for boot Acrobat Updat Service is there and running. Why? everything is gone. Can't remove it using MsConfig. How do i get around this please?

You don't have Adobe Reader installed ?

No I removed it all.

Stop the service and then remove the file(s). Performing in Safe Mode might do the trick as well.

Ok I will tyy safe mode. Don't know how to stop services in windows. I unticked the box in MsConfig but it still shows as running after a reboot.

Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services

Should be near the top of the list. Open the item and then stop it.

Adobe Acrobat update services. Set as Automatic and disabled is greyed out. I also have Genuine software integraty and Genuine monitor. Iff all all adobe has been removed why are all these permanantly here?
