I just bought a samsung evo ssd for my new laptop
My laptop can have two hard disks. I cloned my c drive(hdd) to my ssd, but for some reason my computer can't seem to boot up from the ssd.

I want a clean install on my ssd so I think I will just install win 8 with a cd
1.How do I delete c drive(os) on my hhd after I install os on ssd
2.i need another product key when I install win 8 on ssd. Can I just use the key that I am using right now(original one that came with the laptop) and delete that os from the hard drive after?

Solution
Unplug the SSD, leave the HDD in Lappy, insert the bootable media(DVD/USB), go through the standard procedure, when it comes to drive partitioning page delete all the partitions, and create new partition/s, then exit the installation. Shutdown Lappy, plug in the SSD, go to BIOS, make it first boot device, save and exit BIOS. That's all.

And you can use the same license key on SSD.
