Delete files from a computer that won't boot

Hello, my laptop just crashed. It won't boot normally neither will it repair with a windows recovery system disc or installation disc. Please can anyone let me know how i can save my data in the computer before formatting or how i can delete files from it? I have a windows 7 OS

Hi there Ashu Ayem,

In case the HDD is not completely dead, you can try using some data recovery tool for DOS.
You can take a look at the Ubuntu Live CD approach as well: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/267999-32-recover-data-mode

After that, it may be a good idea to test the drive with some HDD testing tool for DOS.
