Delete specific old restore points

I have too many old system restore points. Automatic deletion will just drop off the oldest when the space allowed is full. But I want to keep about 1 per week, or maybe 1 per month as time passes. I definitely do not want to delete all but the newest.

Can you suggest a method?

Hi, I use CCleaner. It appears to still be XP compatible (See download page). It allows you to delete specific restore points.
