I deleted my external hard disk's partition with diskpart's clean command, because I thought it was my WD blue hdd.How can I recover my data? :( I had so much stuff on it, very old nostalgic pictures, and I am very sad, tried recuva, now im running testdisk, findandmount, stellarphoenix, aomei, but they are really slow.

Diskpart's "clean" command only overwrites the partition data, so your files should still be there, unless you used the "clean all" command, which also overwrites the data.

It may be possible to recover the partitions using a freeware tool like TestDisk...

I haven't tried that process myself, though you can probably find more help at the TestDisk forum, linked to at the bottom of that page. Some commercial software may also be able to recover the partitions in a way that's a little more user-friendly, but those programs will likely cost money.

Realistically, if this was information that you could not afford to lose..... why was there no backup? Use this as a learning experience to implement a backup schedule (preferrably automated).

Recuva etc will take time, and YMMV.

I don't have personal experience with it, but I've heard good things about EaseUS Data Recovery:

You may want to consider professional recovery methods. They're not cheap, but they should have a better success rate.

Thank god, i ran testdisk after deleting the partition, it analyzed it,and said that it cannot restore my data. I somehow did , selected to list my data and somehow it copied to the selected location. Thanks everybody, now I did learn something, that I need another external hard drive for another backup :D
