I was trying to install Ubuntu alongside Windows 10 which I successfully got done.

I didn't have enough space on my computer to install anything on Ubuntu so I went to my Windows 10 OS and deleted a few things. I went into disk management and used the 'Shrink' feature on my mad Hard Drive. I then deleted another Partition that was 5GB like a moron and had no idea what the outcome would be. Turns out it will no longer boot my computer up to Windows 10. I can get into Ubuntu (Which has uninstalled) and do whatever but as soon as I try and get into my Windows 10 OS it just won't load.

So I inserted my Windows 10 disc and tried to repair my computer but it wont detect anything wrong to fix.... so it restarts and and I have to load it from the Windows 10 disc again... I have also tried reformatting my computer (Which I was needing to do for awhile now just haven't got around to doing it) and it just stops at 73/74% for a few hours. It's been 74% twice now and now i'm trying it again for the third time and it's now stuck 1% less.. (73%)

UPDATE: It came up with an error after being stuck at 73% for an hour. This was the message:

Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070017

No idea what to do here and I'm freakin out. Any help would be amazing!

its 3.44am here, i may not be here in an hour.

If ISO doesn't help, only other thought is its possibly the ram corrupting the information so you can run the free version of memtest86 on your ram, 1 stick at a time. It creates a bootable USB- not sure about CD, it might - so don't need windows to check sticks. Any errors are too many. If you get 1, Stick is bad and is probably causing the install problem

reformatting it how? Do you mean you were doing a reset?

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

After a broken reset, I would suggest a fresh install
change boot order in BIOS so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
follow this guide: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

when you reach the screen asking for licence, click "I don't have a key" and win 10 will continue to install and reactivate once finished

On the screen where you choose where to install win 10, if it gives you an error about GPT drives, delete all the partitions on the hdd and press next. If it still gives error, cancel out of the installer and restart PC and start installer again, it will accept next on that screen this time (some PC just need a restart here)

I have a CD for windows 10. I have got to the part where you said and was fresh installing windows 10... but it gets to 73 or 74% and then gives this error:

Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070017

And by reset i mean like doing what you said... i was reformatting my entire pc fresh installing windows but it won't work...
