Hello,
Ok so basically I had this hardrive with partisions: 1 had XP(primary part) and the other was for usual stuff; what I did was install win7 on partition 2 and tried to switch that to primary partition then delete the other using some software I found online. Computer restarted and it wont boot anymore sayin Boot failure please insert disk or something. The tricky part is that I didnt panic since i was thinking oh well i'll just insert my XP cd and refresh install everything from DOS but when I try to boot from cd it says "Boot failure from other device" or something like that? I've made multiple copies of cds/dvds with different windows versions thinking its the cd but no matter what the pc won't boot from disk (changed boot prio in bios etc).
Has anyone experienced this issue before and knows whats there to be done? Thank you
PS: It's an old system im trying to reinstall to give it away to someone and it apparently doesnt recognize USB booting since i also tried to boot from a flashdrive 🙁
Thank you in advance
