Deleted recovery parition

Hi guys,

Long story short was having issues with my tablet. decided to try something on a youtube video which made the situation worse and ended up deleting my recovery partition in cmd prompt.

so when I go to try and reset this PC im presented with the error "Unable to reset your PC a partition driving is missing.

Im currently using a recovery image for my asus tablet. anyway just wondering once you have deleted the recovery partition is it possible to get that recovery back some how?

Well, I can tell you that my expertise is in towers, not tablets. However, I don't think that the partition can be brought back without taking it to an Asus licensed store and repair center.

IDK if maybe you can get an image of the partition online? Even if you could, you'd need to get the hard drive out of the tablet and connect it directly to the computer, assuming it uses a standard connector.

Just take it to a repair shop, you'll save yourself a lot of headache.

Hey guys,

Yeh I thought so. Oh well do you know how I can install a clean copy of windows RT on the tablet? If I can at least get a OS on it thats all that matters.

Contact the manufacturer and have proof of ownership. That's about as useful as I can be right now.
