Deleted user's files

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin (More info?)

On Windows XP Pro I recently deleted a user and selected the keep files
option. I can not locate the files on the hard drive. Does anyone know where
and how these files are saved, and how to recover them?

They should be in Documents and Settings\<username>
