Hello.
I have windows on both my SSD AND HDD
I assume I can't just delete the windows files off of one.... is there another simple way?
I have windows 10

Have windows 8 CD with key tho

Solution
Hi

First i assume the ssd is the main windows disk

If so power down,
Disconnect power and data sata cables from hard disk then check you can boot into windows normally
If not likely boot manager partition on hard disk is still being used

Booting from a windows 10 usb or dvd may allow you to fix boot startup problem

Reconnect the hard drive

You have not said if there is a menu asking which windows to load at startup so i assume you dont get that option

Assuming no programs are still run from the hard drive you can remove program files , program data, windows from hard drive
Subject to windows objecting which may require you to take ownership of the folders

Make sure important data is backed up before making any changes detailed...
