Hey there TH community,

I recently had my PC upgraded replacing most of the components with new parts. I'm using a new SSD as the main storage with my old HDD as a secondary drive (since it was still usable). The OS and the latest versions of any software I was using are installed on my SSD. However, my HDD still has all the leftover windows files and other software from my first PC. I'm unable to remove them through Control Panel as all the old stuff doesn't show up. Is it safe to just raw delete them say, go to the old C:\Windows, C:\Program Files etc and just press delete?

Solution
If you're sure that you've got everything you need on the SSD for programs, then it should be just fine to attempt to delete the folders. Deleting the Windows folder on the secondary drive may give you some issues though. If you don't need any data on the drive it might be best to just format and start fresh.
