Dell 1905FP Monitor changing colors .problem

lcd is not starting...first i was surfing and during that the lcd blinked nd the display was gone,then it started changing colors to yellow and now its not starting.?what could be the problem

bad power, bad inverter, monitors go bad, when they do it's horrible, its too expensive to fix them now a days, cheaper to just go buy another one for $100 or so
