Dell 3100 DVD drive invisible

Hello
Just migrated from XP to Win 7 and my CD/DVD drive is no longer visible. What has gone wrong. It is seen in the device manager list. Ken

check your bios setting and make sure it is the first boot device. Also double check the cables for your CD/DVD to make sure they are hooked up right. You can also check Microsoft compatitably center to make sure the CD/DVD is compatible with win 7.
