I just bought this and it's the first gaming monitor I"ve ever had. I was using a cheap $100 32" sceptre and the picture for movies and games looked better than this monitor. I read the review on this site which said it does not need any calibration, my mine certainly does. Working with the toggles to make adjustments seems unnecessarily difficult. Through much trial and error I succeeded in getting G Sync to work, (by accident) and made some ajustments with my nvidea card that help some. But I can't help to think it should look and play better than my $100 T.V. I downloaded a driver and display manager software from dell's site which did help but I'm not there yet. I don't think it is defective but I'm thinking of returning it.
