Question Dell 3475 AIO -- cloned HDD to SSD, but windows 10 won't recognize it

hello. i'm thinking this is someone i need to address in the bios. I had a perfectly running dell 3475 AIO and cloned the HDD to SSD. Now I only see the DELL logo mocking me and no rotating circles underneath, just nothing. I then figured a corrupt cloning, so i re-formatted and just installed a fresh 1809 build. Same thing. Just the DELL logo.

Is your boot device set to your SSD? If not then the bios may try to boot from the default boot device(earlier one from where you used to boot) and there's no is there so the screen is stuck at the Dell logo
Please don't blame me if I am wrong, I may not be too

If the system still works with the original drive, redo the clone.

Specific steps for a successful clone operation:

Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe all partitions on it.
This will probably require the commandline diskpart function, and the clean command.

Ask questions if anything is unclear.

Check the bios and see if your SSD is recognized as a drive. Press F2 at the dell splash screen. BTW, there will be no rotaing circles at the Dell splash screen, as the name infers, it should come on for a moment and the Windows logo (with the rotating circle) will take it's place. The fact that it stops at the splash screen would indicate it's a bios issue as the hard drive is not being utilized and there is not even a warning of the lack of a boot drive.
