[SOLVED] Dell 7050 MFF will not power on

recently my 7050 mff just died. its connected to power but cannot power on, no lights no sound...
the power supply (original) light is on but once i connect it to the computer it goes off, without even pressing the power on button.
i've tried replacing the power supply with a new one, same thing exactly.
have removed all removable parts from computer (cpu, memory, disk, wifi) but same thing - power light on PSU just goes off the second i plug it in the computer.
any ideas? could that mean my MB is dead?

If you replaced the power supply then yes motherboard is the next more likely thing.
