Dell printers are rebadged Lexmark printers. But, they use unique
cartridges that MUST be bought from Dell. If you run out and have no
spare, you will have to wait, and pay through the nose, for next-day
service. That adds to the already high ink prices of many Lexmark
printers.

Installed 962 with Dell Wireless Print Server in totally wireless home
network.
Dell Inspiron 9200s print via wireless with exceptional clarity.
Beauty of Dell 962 is that it is a stand-alone Fax and Color Copier.
Does not require computer(s) to be connected to send/receive faxes or
make copies. Disadvantage is that Dell only supplies drivers for
Windows 2000 and XP on Printer CD. Experimenting with Lexmark drivers
to find one suitable for Windows 98. If you order this printer through
an Active Dell Account, it can automatically order ink cartridges before
you run out of ink. I chose to order extra black, color and photo
cartridges at time of purchase.
