Dell Alienware 25–AW2518HF or AOC AG241QX

hello,
I am looking on replacing my old tn 60 hz monitor with a 144hz+ monitor. Around my budget here in Greece i found:
1080p 24.5' Dell Alienware 25–AW2518HF 240hz monitor
1440p 24' AOC AG241QX 144hz monitor.
Current RIG is ryzen 5 1600/rx 570/16gb of ram. I mostly play overwatch/fortnite/pubg and few mmos. I know current card cant do well with 1440p let alone 144hz, but i think it will do decently with fps titles and i can dial down to 1080p if i try a demanding title. All that until i get a better card.
What do you think stick on 1080p or jump on 1440p?

only concern is 24' on 1440p and how much scaling it will require..
