Dell Audigy 2ZS Incompatible with regular drivers -

Is there any fix for this? The Dell card apparantly has got a different PCI ID set for it. This is different from the PCI ID set on retail cards. When I try and install drivers on the OEM Dell card it is not detected.

Currently I am using the beta drivers from the Creative site. It does not have any problems detecting the card.

Is there any fix to the problem?

No, there is no fix that I know of... you have to download the drivers Dell provides.

LOL ...Does anyone know how exactly the PCI ID is exactly coded in the cards? Is it hard coded or does this card have any method of allowing one to modify the firmware to report a different PCI ID?
