hi Hi, i have dell inspiron 5559 laptop
spec: intel core i5 - amd r5 m335 - 8gb ram - 500 gb hard disk
the gpu temp while gaming becomes too hot from 90c to 98c
i used gpu-z software and i noticed that the fan speed is only 20%
i searched for a fix and i found on dell website that updating bios can be the solution for the fan
and when the problem started to occur dell assistant software showed me that there's a bios update
so is it safe to update the bios ? i updated it before but last time it damaged my windows i had to install a new windows so i'm afraid to update it to be honest

Backup your personal files, create restore point, read up on updating bios with Dell laptops, then follow the instructions. Good luck

Dell BIOS updates usually install themselves in Windows. The System Restore point should give you some protection.
