Working on a Dell Dimension 4100 Pentium III to use as a retro machine running Windows 98 SE. I just now realized that although it has 2 USB ports in the back it is too old to recognize my USB controllers, keyboard and mouse. I do have a ps2 keyboard but not sure about the mouse and old serial type controller. Don't even know if I even have one anymore. Any ideas or possibilities that there is a work around for any or all? Thanks

They do make USB to PS2 adapters. If not, you can still find PS2 devices for sale. Example: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=PS2+mouse

Good luck with it. I had a 20-ish year old Dimension 8100 that recently died. I have a Dimension 3000 (WinXP) but I haven't used it in a few years. It's covered up and ready to go whenever I want it.

Thanks so much for the reply. I do have the ps2 to USB adapter, but still does not recognize the USB keyboard. Is there any other option to get my old Logitech USB controller to work? Thanks again!!!
