Dell dimension 4700 bios

hi there


just upgraded my dell dimension 4700 with the intel pentium 4 670 at 3.8mhz....and going to install win 7 64-bit....my question is...i know dell bios its locked
but i keep seeing modified bios like slic2.1 ..........and i have no idea whats that....i have the latest bios a10 from 2006 if im correct....can i ever unlock dell's bios so i overclock my cpu?

you had stable system does not recommend update Bios. (damage is own risk) nothing to do with motherboard from brand manufacture Dell/HP, it's still locked. if you want overclock get Mobo OCable from market. just suggestion
