Dell dimension l400c

What cpu upgrade can be used with the dell dimension l400c, hard drive and memory. I want to run Linux

The Dell has a 6g drive and a top end of 318000KB of ram so yes it will run some distrib's of Linux but it doesn't have a lot of power or storage also it doesn't have any usb ports ( I believe) so it's time to get out the wrenches and get under the hood. Any suggestions?
