Dell display problem

My laptop has this strange color problem from bottom running to the top. And it sudden stop then working again.
I'm confused if the problem are in the screen, lcd inverter or video card?

Could be any of those. If the issue is with the video card, then most often the issue will also show up on an external monitor, check with one. You can also try reseating the cable to the motherboard from the screen.

I already done that but the problem is still there.
I think my video card is fine because the display is ok but this color running botton to top after i change my backlight from 10 to 4 and the that strange color running disappeared and this suddenly freeze the screen and i had this problem while booting, it suddenly freeze. Then work again.
After 30mins the bottom of the screen and the lcd inverter itself are hot.
