Dell e228WFP Micro HDMI to DVI-D Problem

I have the Dell e228WFP monitor and Micro HDMI to DVI-D cable not working? The cable has excellent reviews on Amazon. I am using a Yoga 2 Pro. Windows recognizes the monitor and the monitor just goes in Sleep Mode. I have tried all inputs and still does not recognize it. I have tried googling the program but found no solution. Does anyone know what the issue could be? I do not believe this could be a video issue since Windows knows there is a monitor attached. The monitor is DVI/VGA only. Thanks!

Did you extend or mirror the desktop to the second display?

I tried Extend, Mirror, 2nd Display only with no luck
