Hi guys, I noticed that my Dell G5 5590 when plugged in produce a buzzing noise that is really annoying. This is happening and reminds me of old laptop of early 2000s, and now we're on 2020s (Happy New Year so 😀 ). I attached two recording from my iPhone, not so good but you could hear the buzz if you listen carefully.
Now I'm really disappointed from that problem, because in battery mode this isn't happening in any way.. so why? WHY DELL?
Thanks in advance 😉
That's the two recordings took with my iPhone

hey i don't know if you will see this but i have the same laptop as you and as well, the same buzzing noise.

from what i could found on the internet, it is simply due to the "coil whine effect".
It is in fact capacitors from the motherboard or graphic card that made that sound when there is current going trough them. it is noticeable when plugged in because the voltage maybe is not the same ?
And i also found that there is also that noise when using on battery but we can't hear it because it is above human earing frequency.
but on the good side, it is completly harmless and normal to have this noise
it might just be louder on this computer...
