DELL Inspiration 540/DG33M03 shows the DELL Screen

Hello,

DELL screen stops while PC (Inspiration 530) tries to post. Yellow light shines on MB but will not go past the DELL screen. All fans OK..HELP

First try resetting the bios by removing the motherboard battery (small round lithium) for a few seconds, or move the cmos jumper over one position for a few seconds with the power supply unplugged, then return to it's original position. If that doesn't work, try just one stick of ram, one at a time in case one is bad. You may also try a different power supply.
