Hello
I recently got a new Dell Inspiron 14 7447 (version with i7-4720), this laptop comes with a discrete 850m nvidia graphics card. I upgraded this laptop to Windows 10 as soon as I got it and decided to run a few games like cities: skylines and Hitman: Absolution. On both games I get a decent framerate but every other minute my game will freeze up for a couple seconds. My mouse doesn't freeze, audio keeps playing and I can usually alt+tab out of the game while this is happening. I've ran the Dell diagnostic tools for graphic card errors but that didn't return any useful information.
Step's I've taken to resolve my problem are: move the game from the 1TB SSHD that is in HDcaddy in the dvd tray to the 120GB Samsung EVO, turn off battery boost in GeForce Experience, set the 850m as default graphics card, use the optimized settings in GeForce Experience, try running the game in the lowest settings possible, update all my drivers.
Another thing that I've noticed but that might or might not be relevant to my problem is that in the event log under system an error keeps reoccurring multiple times a minute:
If anyone could help me out or has any ideas on how to fix this I'd really appreciate it. Thank you

ACPI is indicated to be the source of this error, I updated my BIOS as suggested in the error but to no avail. The embedded controller (EC) did not respond within the specified timeout period. This may indicate that there is an error in the EC hardware or firmware or that the BIOS is accessing the EC incorrectly. You should check with your computer manufacturer for an upgraded BIOS. In some situations, this error may cause the computer to function incorrectly.
If anyone could help me out or has any ideas on how to fix this I'd really appreciate it. Thank you
