Now i get the message " no boot device found"

You will need to reinstall the os, there isn't an OS on the new hard drive

You are absolutely correct.
Did that. Install window 8
To connect to the internet I get error code 651

go to dell support site, download the network driver from another pc. put it in a usb drive. copied to your dell. install
