I've been having a very faulty reading with my laptop in regards to the temperature of the CPU and it's causing my laptop to thermal shutdown when anything that is need's heavy processing is run on my computer. I just wanna know if anyone knows how does a laptop or my laptop transfers those signals to the software and how can i get it fixed? thank you

Solution
I think there is a misunderstanding.
Integrated GPU means that you are running the CPU´s integrated graphics unit UHD630. Reset or reinstall the nvidia driver to use the dedicated 1050ti high performance GPU.

Use this one:

and update the intel one as well:

or use the automatic driver installer from Dell...
The CPU sensor is directly in the CPU itself under the heatsink or the socket of the motherboard. Usually you can´t fix something like that yourself.
Which reading do you have? While using this laptop extensively while gaming or similar, you should use a cooling pad to lower the temperature.

to have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

also while running this test it couldn't use my integrated gpu idk why.
it showed This.

i even tried to add the test program in nvdia control panel and change it to use integrated but no luck same error.

then i did all the cleaning and restoring health and a clean boot. after all that the benchmark result was this:
