[SOLVED] Dell Inspiron 2330 not booting

I have a Dell Inspiron 2330 which when I press the power button, the display comes on and the fans come on but the dell logo never appears and the PSU fan stays on 100%. I have tried removing and swapping but to no avail apart from it beeping when none is inserted. I suspect it's a dead motherboard but does anyone have any suggestions or more detailed cause of problem?

You said the display comes on, just lights up or does it show any thing? You said "I have tried removing and swapping" what? are you talking about memory? All-in-ones are very hard to work on as seen in this video :

Its 6 years old , may be time to think about another one.

No, backlight comes on but no image. Yes well spotted, I mean to say swapping RAM! I'm probably going to get a replacement anyway but wanted to see if there was any hope for it.
