Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron 3668 that was working fine until the power went out. When you plug the power in the power supply light would stay lit for 3 seconds. That tells me that the power supply is not dead. After hours of tinkering with it I installed a new 500GB SSD and 16GB RAM. I was able to get it up and running by taking the jumper and moving it into another slot for 5 seconds (I forget which slot but I tried them all). Everything is super fast and works great.....until I shut down. When I shut down I have to do this jumper hack again. The computer will even go to sleep and wake back up just fine. It only needs this jumper hack when I shut down. How do I fix this so that I am able to shut it down like a normal computer?
