Dell Inspiron 530

Monitor will not show anything when computer is powered on...cables are tight..monitor works fine with my gaming rig...please help

If the PC has fans and lights going, could be a video card issue, if it's on-board video, could be a motherboard issue. Check capacitors on the motherboard to make sure they are flat and don't have any black coming out the middle of them.

Could also be a RAM/Power Supply/CPU issue but motherboard visual check is free to do as the first thing.
