I re-started my Dell Inspiron PC w/ Windows Vista last night and it would not completely re-boot. It stops at the following:

--------------------------------------------------------

F2 = Set up
F12 = Boot menu

DELL
Bios revision 1.0.13

--------------------------------------------------------
I've unplugged it from ac outlet for more than an hour. It won't go into safe mode (F8). If I press the F2 key it gives me 'entering set-up" or if I press the F12 key it gives me 'loading boot menu' displayed at the bottom left corner of the screen. That's it, it won't take it further through the boot.

Any and all suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

No Windows CD or rescue disk to boot from, I assume.
This may also prove futile, but try holding the power button in for 20-30 seconds. Release it, then start normally.

I do have a windows CD, but it will not read it. The 20-30 second trick did nothing either. Thanks for the response though.
