Dell Inspiron 570 Fans not working & No video, Power light flashes

I have a Dell Inspiron 570 which i got from my roomate isn't powering up, fans do not work, no video nothing but power flashing lights. Can someone advise as to the problem with this desktop??

To clarify, the front panel power button is what's flashing when you attempt to power it on? What color is it flashing? At the back of the PC, does the PSU have an led on it? If it does, what color is that led?

Yes the button is flashing and it's flashing blue at at the back if i can remember i think it was orange. Sorry for the delayed reply i had recently bought a comp on ebay. I still have the problematic comp in the garage.

More than likely the problem is the PSU. I'll suggest trying a different PSU in there.

It is most likeley the PSU a cable or two may have come of the 24 pin motherboard connector.
Have you opened it up to see if any cables are not plugged in??

Could be in standby / sleep mode if the power button is flashing. Either press a key or press the power button once
