DELL inspiron 600m failed to start

Hello,

I have a DELL INSPIRON 600m series computer that I haven't used for more than half year. Now, I am thinking to get my old pictures from this computer. However, I just can not start the computer again. It just said: DISK ERROR, PRESS ANY KEY TO START. now, I really don't know what to do. Would you please give me some suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any help!

Can you get into the BIOS (F2 key) and check the boot sequence? Set it to hard disk boot and continue.

If this does not work, use the start-up disk to start the computer, and then look at the folders containing your pictures.

Don't forget to backup all computers regularly.
