[SOLVED] Dell Inspiron 660s won't turn on after HUGE power outage

I have an old Dell Inspiron 660s that was working 2 days ago.
Then I had a power outage (one of the transformers exploded)
When that happened, the lights were turning on and off (so I think the computer died)

It doesn't turn on, but the green light in the back is on and when I press the power button the green light in the back blinks.
I think it might be the PSU (but I'm not fully sure)
I left it unplugged for a day and it still doesn't work. (I don't know about the motherboard light because I took the cover off and so much dust fell and there was a fan cover)

What should I do? It has lots of valuable things on it.
Please help.

"I think it might be the PSU (but I'm not fully sure) "

I think this is most likely.

I'd replace it.

You may find some on Ebay.
Okay.. I'll get it and then test it. If it turns on then it WAS the PSU.
But doesn't the green light mean it's receiving power (so it is working fine but the motherboard is bad?)

When there is a power outage...and a component in a PC fails.....in my experience it's most likely the power supply.

I have replaced many PSUs due to power failures.

I've had power failures where I've lost 10 PCS at once.

It is possible that it's the motherboard that's the problem but in my experience this is less likely.

....and the green light may mean that the power supply is working "somewhat".
