[SOLVED] Dell Inspiron 7373 mic not working

The microphone is not working on my inspiron laptop. Not sure how to check to see if it actually came with one. Thank you.

According to the following link the laptop has a microphone.

Do verify that I correctly identified the laptop in question.

Look in Device Manager: Audio inputs and outputs.

Alsoc heck that under the View tab that "Show hidden devices" is checked.

Any microphones listed?

Ensure that the microphone is enabled.

Try running the built-in Windows troubleshooters. The trouble shooters may find and fix something.

Yep that is the correct laptop. It looks like brave browser is somehow blocking the mic. Still looking for the setting. Thank you for the links and suggestions. It has helped troubleshoot this issue.
