So I recently (today) replaced the battery in my old dell laptop as the old one was bloated, now the new one refuses to turn on. The power button led is blank and the front power led is plain white. Should I give it a longer period to charge the new battery or is there another issue at hand?
Edit : I have given it some time to charge and it still refuses to turn on.
Edit 2 : The battery seems to be heating up while the charger is plugged in, I am unplugging it for now.
