Dell inspiron crash

Hello,
I have a new inspiron i560-3910nbk. When my explorer froze I rtied system restore. Now all I have is a black screen.

Before you get the 'black screen' what is your computer doing up till the point the screen goes black?

Can you boot up from a bootable CD/DVD or USB thumb drive?
